New kids on the block. Playground is showing us some attitude through their gizmos where smartphones can “play around with”. They are fun and practical devices to have, especially while on-the-go.
Playground shows us their wooden Bluetooth speaker. No connection has to be made, and all you have to do is place your smartphone on top of the speaker, and the desired effect is almost instantaneous. It boasts above average sound quality and little distortions. We’ve also tried using other portable speakers just as an experiment, and we were surprised with the Playground results with double amplified audio. It’s also extraordinary light and easy to carry around.
A lot of powerbanks out there follows more techie-ish designs. One of the things we really like about the PB300 is its ubiquitous design. It charges fast, good to power up mobile devices when you’re in a jiffy, and it looks like a stone, making it a good-looking paper weight when needed.
We really love this in the TechLab. It’s a rechargeable flashlight with USB ports to charge your mobile devices. The ports are found at the other end of the flashlight after unscrewing the cap. It’s a bit heavy to carry, but the light bulb is ridiculously strong and features 2600mAh. Talk about two birds in one stone. Quick press the button for its SOS signal that flashes red.
